How to screen record on iPhone


To screen record on an iPhone, you can use the built-in Screen Recording feature. Here are the steps:

For iPhone with iOS 15 or later:

  1. Open Control Center:

    • On an iPhone with Face ID, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center.
    • On an iPhone with a Home button, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.

  2. Find Screen Recording Icon:

    • In the Control Center, look for the Screen Recording icon. It looks like a small circle inside another circle.

  3. Start Screen Recording:

    • Tap the Screen Recording icon.
    • If it's your first time using Screen Recording, you may need to customize the Control Center to include the Screen Recording icon.

  4. Start Recording:

    • A countdown will appear, and then your iPhone will start recording the screen.
    • To include or exclude the microphone audio, long-press or force touch the Screen Recording icon, and toggle the microphone on or off.

  5. Stop Recording:

    • To stop recording, tap the red recording indicator in the status bar at the top of the screen.
    • Alternatively, open Control Center and tap the Screen Recording icon again.

  6. Access the Recording:

    • The screen recording will be saved in the Photos app on your iPhone.
